You're Not Ready For Social Media
There’s a lot of buzz about social media, seems like every company is looking into this and seeing how they can take advantage of it. It’s always good looking into ways you can improve and enhance your business, but before jumping the gun, are you really ready?
Is your website as good as it can be? Is it clear, easy to navigate? Does it produce the leads and conversions you expect it to? You need to check this, double check it and make sure it’s pulling its weight.
What about your online marketing? How effective are your online ads? Have you tried a few different approaches? Are you measuring the behavior of the people that see your ad as well as those that click on them? Have you tried sending people through to dedicated landing pages? What about pitching to people at different approaches in their buying cycle?
And how about the people who’s emails you have in your database, are you keeping in touch with them? Are you letting them know about your new products? Are you sending them useful information, are you reactivating them?
If you’re scoring 10/10 in all these areas, then by all means, dive into social media and flirt with any other new trends, fads and crazes that crop up in the world of online marketing. If there’s room for improving your website and your online marketing, it’s probably best you fix that first.
