To build a successful online business, a website, a blog, a search engine and social media site. You need to check a lot of boxes, do a lot of things just right, and have quite a bit of luck. But what you also need, is patience.
A lot of people in business want action NOW and rightly so. You should certainly be quick to execute, to put plans in motion and take action, but you won’t get results over-night.
Online success doesn’t fit neatly into your marketing schedule, it won’t happen in the next three months or 6 months guaranteed, it may take 3 years, it may never happen. You have to have the patience to endure this if you really want success. Even just getting a new website cached in the major search engines can take months, let alone penetrating the nooks and crannies of the internet.
Not even a healthy online marketing spend can expedite this anymore. The internet has gotten a lot more crowded, people are bombarded with new offer, products services, and numerous studies have shown they pay very little attention to these.
The solution is to take action, build up a genuine connection with your user-base step by step. Blog, send your database useful information, way before asking them to buy, build an honest, genuine relationship with them, and be patient, and maybe, just maybe, you’ll have online success.
